Casa Rosario has lakefront property for the school where students can study in a more natural setting. Students study in individual cabañas in the garden where a roof and bamboo screen protect the student and teacher from the sun and the rain. Students have the option of studying at the school building, but even during the rainy season the majority of students prefer the garden setting.

Because (unless requested otherwise) all classes are one on one, students advance at their own pace. Since their progress is not being compared to anyone else, even the slower students make a lot of  progress since they don't have to perform in front of quicker students. There is always time for a student to ask a question to help him/her understand the lessons.

.
During a short break one of the students jokes around with teachers and other students. Every morning and afternoon Casa Rosario provides tamalitos and fresh fruit such as pineapple and  watermelon for the break . Sometimes the fruit is provided by the trees planted in the garden by Samuel and Vicente.

The skills to teach a person who know no words in Spanish are different from the skills to teach a advanced student. Most students who study more than a few weeks will find a skilled teacher with whom they personally connect who can teach them at their level of understanding.
