Located near the dock to Santiago Atitlan, Hotel Villasol with its large grassy court yards is the perfect hotel to accommodate large groups of people as well as individuals. The palm trees and thatched-roof restaurant give the place a tropical feel. Villasol is safe, clean and quiet. The rooms unfortunately do not have a view of the volcanoes across the lake because the units were constructed perpendicular to the shore rather than parallel to the shore.

The restaurant (left) is located below the hotel and across the street from the bungalows (below). There are two bungalows. They each have two bedrooms, a living/dining area, a kitchen and a bathroom. Each bungalow sleeps a maximum of 4 people. There is a barbeque in the yard in front of the bungalows, and there is room to park a car off  the street
